These dates are imported from the GBHC Google Calendar. Recurring “All Courses Open to the Public” entries are used as operating-hours confirmation; this list focuses on named shoots, groups, meals and special events. If the calendar does not state exact field reductions or pricing, the estimator requires staff confirmation instead of inventing restrictions.
Available shooting start times
Only times valid for the selected daylight, white-light, or Comet booking type are shown. Shooting is never permitted before 9:00 AM or after 9:00 PM.
2. Event & group
Closed-day private openings add the $250 opening fee. On registered-shoot dates, use Registered Sporting Clays event entry for the competition itself.
WHITE LIGHT and COMET selections automatically limit the start times and games to that night setup. A noon start is not valid for a blacklight event.

Choose an entire package for each shooter. This prevents double-counting people while allowing any mix of Red, Blue and registered 5-Stand. Membership status does not change registered target fees.

Shooter / participant roster
Every person attending should be listed. A verified member may be identified by membership number. Anyone without a verified membership number must be named and classified as a Non-Member Adult or Non-Member Youth and complete the electronic waiver. Every group must include at least one adult, including a non-shooting adult supervisor if needed.

How does “encrypted at rest” protect my data?
Encryption is Intentionally Custom Built in as a necessity for keeping the privacy of our members information theirs by Cory Bredow.
What “encrypted at rest” means
Encryption at rest protects sensitive information while it is stored in a database, on a server drive, in cloud storage, or in a protected backup. Instead of being stored in readable form, the sensitive value is converted into coded data called ciphertext.
How it works
When protected data is saved, the GBHC system automatically encrypts it in the background using a strong encryption algorithm and a separate encryption key, saving that ciphertext instead of an ordinary readable value. When an authorized GBHC function needs the information, the system uses the correct key to decrypt the ciphertext temporarily for that authorized use. If the information is displayed in your browser, it is delivered to that authorized session over HTTPS.
This means that obtaining a database copy or storage file by itself should not reveal the protected names, member numbers, phone numbers, email addresses, notes, or electronic signatures. The encryption key is required to turn the ciphertext back into readable information.
Secure member lookups
For member-number, phone, and email matching, GBHC also uses secure keyed lookup values. This lets the system determine whether the information entered matches a member record without keeping a readable searchable list of those identifiers in the database.
Why it matters
- Unauthorized-access protection: encryption adds another layer of protection beyond usernames, passwords, and database permissions.
- Reduced breach exposure: stolen encrypted storage is much less useful without the separate decryption key.
- Backups: sensitive exported data and backups should remain encrypted, with recovery keys stored separately and securely.
- Security and compliance: encryption at rest is a widely used safeguard in regulated environments such as healthcare and payment processing. Which legal or industry requirements apply depends on the organization and the data involved.
- Member confidence: Cory Bredow and GBHC are intentionally designing the membership and waiver systems so sensitive information is not kept as an ordinary readable member list.
Important: encryption at rest protects stored data. It works together with secure logins, access controls, HTTPS while data is traveling, software updates, backups, and careful key management. These measures help keep data safer but do not stop every possible form of data collection or compromise, such as scanning or malware on a client-side device. Encryption at rest does not replace those other protections.
Payment responsibility & guest waivers
Build the real payable groups. Each shooter's targets and club ammunition follow that shooter, then roll into the selected Paid by person. A verified member is identified by member number; a non-member/guest is identified by name. Cart riders and cart payers are separate: riding in a cart does not automatically decide who pays for it. By default, each cart fee is divided into equal participant shares. If someone is not paying their own share, uncheck that person and their share moves to the selected person covering the unpaid shares. An advanced custom-dollar split remains available for unusual arrangements.
What are these games?
Sporting ClaysAbout a 1-mile walking/riding round course. The normal course uses 14 shooting stations with roughly 3–4 different target presentations available at each station. Private-event layouts may use all 15 stations when configured.
UplandSeven stations through the woods, designed to simulate flushing grouse. Each station uses two target machines.
SkeetTargets cross the field between two white towers: the low house and high house. Shooters rotate through fixed shooting positions. No cart is used for Skeet.
TrapTargets are thrown out and away from the shooters' standing positions. No cart is used for Trap.
Wobble TrapLike Trap, targets are thrown out and away, but the machine changes its target direction/angle. No cart is used for Wobble Trap.
5-StandHeated, covered and elevated. It requires climbing stairs. Only 5 people may shoot at one time, so larger groups must rotate and may wait for their turn.Maximum active squad: 5 shooters.
Warm-Up StationA short practice/warm-up shooting station before or alongside other eligible activities. No cart is used for the Warm-Up Station.
Sporting Clays target format
Roll / scroll from lowest to highest. Each stop shows the claimed targets, preset name, and current member/non-member target price per shooter.
The selected target count is per selected shooter. If only one person is doing a 100- or 250-target regimen, select only that shooter for the activity. The set/claimed game is always billed first; the 10% rule is forgiveness only for targets thrown ABOVE that claim.

Outing ammunition assignment
Ammo is calculated across every selected activity for each shooter. If a shooter does two 25-target games, “All required” becomes 50 shells / 2 boxes. Additional games do not create a separate independent ammo estimate.

Add another game / reservation time
Use this when the outing is doing more than one activity—for example 25 Skeet first, then 50 Sporting Clays with carts; or Sporting Clays in daylight followed by a reserved Comet 5-Stand slot after dark. Each activity can use a different shooter count and gauge mix.

Rules used by this estimator
Absolute shooting window: shooting cannot begin before 9:00 AM or continue after 9:00 PM. Check-in, preregistration, banquet or get-ready time can be handled separately in the full booking system.
Game defaults: Skeet = 25 targets per shooter. Sporting Clays = 50 targets per shooter over the normal 14/15-station course. Other games default to 25 targets and remain editable.
Ammunition integrity: one box = 25 shells. Club ammunition is calculated per shooter across the entire outing, not independently per game. A shooter doing two 25-target games requires 50 shells / 2 boxes. If “All outing shooters” need club ammo, any missing gauge or short manual box count blocks the quote until corrected or explicitly acknowledged as customer-supplied ammunition.
Carts: carts are available for course-style activities when appropriate. Warm-Up, Skeet, Trap and Wobble Trap do not use carts, so the cart controls are disabled for those selections. When carts are applicable, the estimator suggests one 4-person cart for every four shooters. GBHC has 8 club-owned 4-person carts; quantities above 8 require a separate arrangement and may change the price.
Large groups: groups over 16 may qualify for additional discounts or need custom customer-flow planning. Groups over 30 can require individualized staffing, parking, puller, cart, setup and cleanup arrangements. Please speak with Cory for final verification.
Event setup & cleanup: shooting remains 9:00 AM–9:00 PM only. Private events may request earlier non-shooting setup/preregistration or later non-shooting cleanup/banquet time, subject to staffing and approval.
Special opening: the $250 opening fee opens the club, not the sky. Private shooting still follows the actual civil-dusk time and the lighting available on that date. White-light shooting begins at/after civil dusk. Comet/blacklight is limited to the fall/winter Comet season and cannot begin before darkness.
Unlit courses: Sporting Clays and Upland must finish before civil dusk. A start time is not offered if the estimated group duration would run past dusk.
Member reward comparison: normal member purchases earn 200 points per $1. When a mixed member/non-member group splits the bill, non-member cash contributes at 50% value and that guest-point pool is divided equally among the members present. If one member pays the entire eligible bill, that member receives the full 200 points per $1 on the amount they personally pay. The estimate highlights the additional BONUS POINTS from that choice.
Youth pricing: a non-member youth may be assigned member game pricing without becoming a member or receiving a member reward account. Club ammunition and other purchases still follow the actual shooter and selected payer.
Payable groups: each shooter's targets and club ammunition follow that shooter, then roll to the selected payer. Cart charges are divided only among the riders assigned to that cart. A parent/member may therefore pay for a child or guest while other shooters remain separate payers.
Non-member electronic waiver: every non-member/unverified shooter must be named and have an accepted electronic indemnity/range acknowledgement before the reservation request is submitted. For a youth participant, the accompanying responsible adult signs the same electronic waiver.
Target forgiveness: the claimed/purchased game is the minimum bill. The estimator allows 10% extra targets above that claim; it never subtracts 10% from the claimed game. Any fraction after dividing group targets by shooters rounds UP to a whole target.
